After I tell you that I don't know the person you are calling for, phone me back two business days later and ask again. Perhaps I'll remember him by that time. (This is particularly effective if both calls come hideously early in the day. Like around 7:00 a.m.) Even if the last name is unique, it doesn't mean we're all related, so stop it. I do not know him. I've told you that. And I don't particularly care if he owes you money, so knock it off.

Hah! I feel your pain. My phone number is listed under my first two initials (K J), and I used to get tons of calls asking for Kevin or Janie. It drove me nuts.
That's "K space J", folks, not "K & J". NOT a typo!
Is this a collection company bugging you in error? Complain to the phone company.
I'm pretty sure it's a collection agency. I used to work for one, so I recognize the tone. But I don't know which agency is doing it. If they phone again, I'm going to seriously freak out!
They're looking for a guy with the same last name as ours. Different first name. (Different first initials too.) No one we know.
I wish they'd stop phoning.
