The cat's in the cradle, the spoons need polishing, and the rest of the house is going to pot too
uhm.. at the moment I am simply jealous at everyone who actually have a house! Or a flat. Somewhere where they don't have to ask for permission to have a guniea pig or to pain the walls... ohhhh.
Aww, I'm sorry. I didn't much like apartment life either. It wasn't so much that I needed to ask permission to have a fuzzy animal as it was that undesirable fuzzy animals would move in without my permission. And occasional larder beetle infestations throughout the whole building. Stuff like that, that I could have lived quite happily without.London is so expensive! Housing is a lot more affordable here. I suspect this is in part because there is so little to do here by comparison. But even so, the fantasy house in the picture was assessed at being worth over $700,000!!
I moved once because of fuzzy animals in the kitchen. (Yuk!)The flat we are at is not bad in the sense that there are no unwanted animals or suprise pets, nor is there any sturctural problems with the building. It's an ok flat. But it would be nice to play sax withouth worrying about disturbing neighbours. And I want wooden floors instead of carpets.
