Coming to terms

Stop pretending. Stop dreaming. Focus.

Live in truth. Not everything is possible.

Keep realistic expectations. Do not hold others to your own impossibly high standards.

The world is what it is. It may not be ideal, but it must be viewed honestly.

Stop. Breathe. And try not to be disillusioned. Tears will not produce a different outcome. Deal with it.

Lower expectations leave less room for disappointment and hard feelings in the long run, though they are harder to swallow in the short term.

See life as it is, and not as it should be.

Don't give up on your dreams.

The world is a beautiful place. You have a beautiful baby. You have a partner who loves you.

Having a loving family is the most important thing in the world.

Often what you need doesn't show up until the last minute before you need it. Enjoy today, leave tomorrow's worries for tomorrow.

Easier said than done, I know. Studies have shown that counting your blessings every day actually makes people happier. You are blessed in so many ways and your presence is a blessing to others, especially J.

Thanks, Trish. I think I needed that. I know you don't understand why, but please just trust that it was something I needed to hear. Thanks.

I'm still going to cry, but only because it makes me feel better in the end.

Love!

Trish, you are very sweet. And thanks for the call.
I'm just fine.
I was having issues with some aspects of my life, but they are all being resolved and I am returning to my plump, happy self! No more worries, it's all good!
