J weaned himself yesterday.

He doesn't care that I'm not home looking after him anymore. And he doesn't want to breastfeed anymore.

My baby doesn't need me anymore.

He always need you for OTHER things, just not breast milk.
He'll need you for all of his life.
"mommy, can you take me to the ___", "mommy can you loan me ___ dollars", mommy can I borrow the _____".
It will never end... never! :)

Draya still points emphatically to her feeeding pillow when she wants milk. Something tells me weaning at our household might be a painful, weepy process. Count yourself somewhat lucky!

Thanks. I needed that.

I'm sure it's good that he self-weaned. None of us have to go through the painful weepy process. That's a good thing.

I just wish I didn't feel so rejected by it. But I'm sure it will pass.

He still wants to be cuddled while he drinks his cow's milk. So that's something, at least.
