Especially since I just learned Google only lets you follow 200 blogs (which sounds like a lot, but is still a limit that shouldn't really be there). So I certainly can see being selective about it. I'm just glad I've not had to do it; it's a bit awkward.Momma Trishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01047263656994476297noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14971422.post-77148956346782003492009-01-25T09:31:00.000-07:002009-01-25T09:31:00.000-07:00I'm so pleased to have made your acquaintance! I can't even fathom de-following someone... but as a rule, I only follow those I've been reading regularly for several weeks, so I know my interest won't wane, and we're "compatible."Sara LeeAnnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06666991466222249745noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14971422.post-16703440568339387942009-01-23T10:25:00.000-07:002009-01-23T10:25:00.000-07:00I think there are definitely times when you've got...I think there are definitely times when you've got to de-follow a blog. Otherwise, you've just got too much to read and not enough time. No point in that; no good can come of it. And I think some people use their google reader just to remind them to check out a blog that's new to them for a little bit, but then lose interest in it after a time. Which is also fair. I've not had to de-follow anyone yet. I'm sure it will happen at some point, though.

I figure most people are interested in reading the things they relate to. De-following is fair ... just unpleasant.

Just, with Michelle, CDA, and I all losing one follower apiece in the past week, the blogosphere started feeling a bit unfriendly for a moment. Needed to rant briefly. I'm over it. Everything is good here!Momma Trishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01047263656994476297noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14971422.post-70009695596135195042009-01-22T18:40:00.000-07:002009-01-22T18:40:00.000-07:00Finding out you've lost subscribers is never fun. ...Finding out you've lost subscribers is never fun. I've canceled blog subscriptions before, not to be mean, but because the content didn't interest me, or I had too many to read and found myself skipping over that blogs posts in order to get to others on my list.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16649638235083533810noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14971422.post-43449436268850637462009-01-22T16:25:00.000-07:002009-01-22T16:25:00.000-07:00::sigh:: What's with the fickle followers? I don't need EVERY detail), but de-following a blog?Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11744571176673865035noreply@blogger.com
